Uniquely for oven cleaning franchises, our trainer is our Franchisor who still cleans ovens albeit now on a part-time basis. Graham Rogers has seven years of oven and AGA cleaning experience covering the majority of makes and models of domestic appliances. Graham feels that it is imperative that he sets the standard for all franchisees and his own staff so he personally trains each new franchisee.
He is a Member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science for which you need to have been an Associate Member for 10 years before you can be invited to become a Full Member.

OvenGleamers Story
OvenGleamers is the franchise arm of OvenGleam.com. OvenGleam.com was launched when the owners realised that there was a large market for AGA cleaning when they had their own AGA cooker serviced and discovered the number of AGA cookers the servicing company was servicing locally. AGA Cleaning plus oven cleaning was a unique and potentially lucrative business.
OvenGleamers and OvenGleam are run by Graham Rogers, who is the Managing Director, and his wife Catherine Rogers.
Graham Rogers is ex Royal Air Force non commissioned avionics engineer who after 13 years in the RAF was made redundant in 1996. After 7 years as a free lance computer consultant working for large corporate companies in UK and in The Netherlands he started OvenGleam in early 2004. He has two Open University degrees.
Catherine Rogers is an ex Royal Air Force commissioned officer who spent 17 years in the RAF as a navigator on the C130 Hercules aircraft fleet. She also spent a two year tour at RAF Cranwell where she was a flight commander on Initial Officer Training. She left the RAF in January 2007 and her last tour was at RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire where she was an instructor on the Operational Conversion Unit training navigators new to the aircraft. She is a Maths graduate of Durham University.
OvenGleam was started by Graham as a one-van operation with the help of Catherine. Initially Graham tried different cleaning methods and eventually came up with a profitable system. With marketing being the key to educate people that such a service was available. Soon they got to a stage where they were booking ovens in at 5 weeks in advance and decided it was time to take on operatives to help them. They employed their first cleaning operative and after 6 months, three more. Currently they are operating a fleet of 5 oven cleaning vans with Graham out cleaning regularly. All the operatives recently completed a NVQ course and are qualified to NVQ level 2 in Oven cleaning which to is a first in the oven cleaning industry. So with currently 10,000 customers they are still very much growing and their business depends on providing a consistent and reliable service. All staff have recently been CRB checked. Catherine runs the office and they have two more office staff, Lucy and Jayne, to help with quotes and booking in of oven cleaning appointments.
OvenGleam has tried several different methods to clean ovens but using the system they now use means that they provide a completely safe oven cleaning service to both their customers and employees. Graham and Catherine would like to share their cleaning system, and offer you the opportunity to with partner with you as an OvenGleamers’ franchisee, and use the BEST, safest and fastest system out there.
As they own and use regularly their own AGA cooker Graham and Catherine believe that OvenGleamers is positioned in the market so that it can offer that added extra user experience when it comes to helping AGA cooker owners get their AGAs cleaned and they feel that is an important distinction in OvenGleam’s service delivery.
